New Delhi: President Droupadi Murmu will arrive in Vijayawada today on a two-day visit to Andhra Pradesh. She will inaugurate the National Saras Mela 2026 tomorrow.
“The President will offer prayers at Sri Kanaka Durga Temple in Vijayawada this evening. Tomorrow, she will inaugurate the National Saras Mela 2026 in Vijayawada. The mela is being organised by the Union Ministry of Rural Development in association with the Government of Andhra Pradesh. More than one thousand five hundred women members of Self-Help Groups from over thirty States and Union Territories are participating in the mela. The SARAS Mela 2026 helps women entrepreneurs showcase their traditional crafts, reach wider markets and sell their products to customers across the country.
