New Delhi: Inspector General of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) Narendra Singh Bundela said today that northern Andhra Pradesh and southern Odisha have been the worst-affected regions so far by Cyclone Arnab. Briefing the media in New Delhi, Mr Bundela said that NDRF and State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) teams are currently deployed in the affected areas in coordination with the state and central governments. He said that NDRF had deployed four additional teams to Andhra Pradesh last night, anticipating that the state would be the worst affected. Mr Bundela informed that all state-level disaster response mechanisms have also been activated and placed on alert, with personnel working in the field to manage the situation.
