New Delhi: Noted actress and MP Hema Malini today announced the commencement of the All India Film Festival of Indian Sadhana, Chitra Bharti Film Festival 2022 (CBFF 2022). This is the fourth edition of this famous film festival. On this occasion, the National President of Indian Chitra Sadhana, Prof. BK Kuthiala, senior television journalist Umesh Upadhyay and Satish Chitra Samiti secretary Ashish Bhawalkar were also present.

Announcing the Chitra Bharti film festival, Ms. Hema malini said that Chitra Bharti is providing opportunities for the youth to move forward. She said that today’s cinema is imitating the West. There is a need to promote Indian values in cinema. Indian painting practice is promoting cinema that promotes Indian values. He said that cinema is job providing industry.

 

She said that in changing times, new platforms like OTT have also proven to be effective in connecting youth with cinema.

On this occasion, Prof. Brij Kishore Kuthiyala, President of the Bharatiya Chitra Sadhana, said that today is the time of the screen. Our lives are being affected by the content of the screen. The screen has given a new direction to the society. Its society has been linked to socialism.

Prof. BK Kuthiala, National President of Bharatiya Chitra Sadhana said that this event which is held every two years is scheduled from 18/02/2022 to 20/02/2022 in the city of Bhopal lakes, capital of Madhya Pradesh. CBFF is returning to Madhya Pradesh after a gap of six years. It was first held in 2016 in the state’s multi-cultural commercial center Indore.

Senior TV journalist Umesh Upadhyay said India is home to 22 languages and films are produced in almost every language. Recently digital platforms including online portals and OTT have accelerated the production of audio-visual content. Which you can also feel due to the ever increasing participation of CBFF filmmakers on this platform.

Even during the lockdown period realising the need to keep people engaged in activity at home and also promoting awareness on Covid health protocol Bharatiya Chitra Sadhana organised an online Covid-19 short film festival. People were invited to send in short films on Covid awareness topics while maintaining health protocols. Over 250 entries were received. So even in lockdown Bharatiya Chitra Sadhana continued to work in the audio-visual field and engage with amateur as well as professional film makers. We hope continue serving the nation through film and related activities in the coming days as well.
