“There is potential to disrupt this space,” said Jeet Adani. “We need more passionate people to create solutions for problems faced by people with disabilities. I am excited to partner and support entrepreneurs to help bring about this change, in whatever way possible.”
Jeet Adani, younger son of billionaire philanthropist Gautam Adani, is Director of Adani Airports – today India’s largest airport infrastructure company with eight international airports in its management and development portfolio. Inspired by Dr Priti Adani, his mother, who evolved the Adani Foundation from a small rural project in Mundra, Gujarat, into a global force for change, Jeet is keenly interested in philanthropic initiatives. He has catalysed various collaborations facilitated by the Foundation, with a focus on supporting people with disabilities.
India has more than 25 crore people with disabilities. The special Shark Tank program featuring Jeet Adani and entrepreneurs, working to resolve problems faced by people with disabilities, is to be produced and released in the early part of this year.
