Indo-Canadian organizes ‘Tiranga and Maple car rally’ in Canada
New Delhi: The Indian Canadian people in Canada on February 28 organized a ‘Tiranga and Maple’ car rally. Purpose behind the giant car rally was to develop the stronger and good relations between India and Canada.
Canada will receive half a million coronavirus vaccines from India next week. The New Delhi Government has already given the coronavirus vaccine to more than 25 countries.
The Indian – Canadian in Canada followed the rules of traffic and important coronavirus guidelines issued by the government of Canada.
Hundreds of cars had celebrated the growing ties between Canada and India.
The organizer gave his statement in which he said that “In this time of the COVID-19 pandemic that has claimed so many lives around the globe, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi had come together in an effort to save lives by the supply of millions of vaccines.”
Organisers further added that “We thank India for practicing the ancient Vedic value of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ which means ‘the world is one family’. Supplying vaccines to Canada reaffirms this value and the friendship shared by the two great democracies. We also recognize India’s efforts of meeting a global demand by sharing it’s vaccine supply with over 40 countries from around the world.”
