Dubai: A delegation of Indian companies is showcasing innovative solutions in water treatment, environmental technologies and sustainability as part of the Bharat Pavilion at WETEX 2026, being held at the Dubai World Trade Centre from 20-22 October. WETEX, organised by the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, is one of the region’s leading exhibitions focusing on water, energy, technology and the environment.
The participating companies are presenting a range of technologies and solutions, including water treatment plants, sewage treatment systems, membranes, pumps, filtration components, underwater robots, artificial intelligence-powered facility intelligence systems, and bioculture and odour control solutions.
Their offerings also cover energy, automation, analytical and process applications, and environmental sustainability. Indian participants highlighted India’s growing capabilities in indigenous water quality monitoring technologies, with Make in India products offering innovative solutions for global markets.
First-time international exhibitors expressed optimism about expanding into the Gulf market, citing the quality and competitiveness of Indian water treatment solutions and WETEX as a platform to connect with global industry players.
The Bharat Pavilion has been organised by the Services Export Promotion Council, SEPC, under India’s Ministry of Commerce and Industry, to promote Indian services exports and strengthen business ties with the Gulf region and other international markets. It provides a common platform for Indian companies to connect with international buyers, industry leaders and potential partners, and explore opportunities for distribution agreements, joint ventures and project collaborations.
The initiative is supported under the Government of India’s Export Promotion Mission, which provides assistance to eligible Indian exhibitors towards participation costs. SEPC is also facilitating a visitor delegation to help Indian businesses explore opportunities in the Gulf market. The Indian participation at WETEX 2026 underscores the country’s growing capabilities in water and environmental technologies and its commitment to expanding services exports through international partnerships.
