IIFA 2022: Bollywood Celebrities arrive in Abu Dhabi to attend the award function
New Delhi: Several Bollywood celebrities arrived in Abu Dhabi to attend the International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA) 2022 on Thursday, June 02, 2022.
The award show will be held at the Yas Island from June 02 to June 04 this year.
Several Bollywood actors were spotted at the Mumbai airport on Thursday as they prepared to jet off for the event. The IIFA also shared pictures of celebrities who already reached the country.
Bollywood celebrities like Aishwarya Rai, Abhishek Bachchan, Salman Khan, Farah Khan, Ananya Panday, Sara Ali Khan, Tiger Shroff, Disha Patani, Nora Fatehi, and Aparshakti Khurana are expected to attend the IIFA 2022 along with celebrities Mithun Chakraborty, Boney Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit, Lara Dutta, Tamannaah Bhatia, Nargis Fakhri, Bobby Deol, Arjun Rampal, and Sanya Malhotra.
Meanwhile, the court allowed actor Jacqueline Fernandez to fly and attend the event.
Several musicians including Neha Kakkar, Rohanpreet Singh, Dhvani Bhanushali, Tanishk Bagchi, Asees Kaur, Zahrah S. Khan, and Honey Singh will also attend the IIFA 2022.
Bollywood actors Salman Khan, Riteish Deshmukh, and Maniesh Paul will host the show with performances by Shahid Kapoor, Tiger Shroff, Kartik Aaryan, Sara Ali Khan, Ananya Panday, Divya Khosla Kumar, Nora Fatehi, and an act by Aparshakti Khurana.
The event will be aired on Colors TV for viewing. The award categories include Best Actor (male and female categories), Best Film, Best Direction, Best Supporting Actor (male and female categories), Star Debut of the Year (male and female categories), Best Music Director, Best Lyricist, and Best Playback Singer (male and female categories).
Technical Awards include Best Story, Screenplay, Dialogue, Cinematography, and Editing among others.
