New Delhi: A law student who jumped into the Yamuna river to end his life – is saved by a Delhi police law student who attempted suicide by jumping into the Yamuna River but – saved by the Delhi Police.

Second-year Law student – a citizen of Alwar in Rajasthan who is studying at National Law University in Bengaluru try to commit suicide.

On Saturday, police authorities received information about a guy who jas planning to commit suicide, and his location was traced to the Signature Bridge in Delhi’s Timarpur area. A student had been staying at a hotel in Paharganj without alerting his friends and family, according to Deputy Commissioner of Police Sagar Singh Kalsi.

According to the DCP, the Student had posted a tweet about his intention to kill himself – his family members saw the tweet and alerted the authorities.

When police arrived, they discovered that someone had jumped into the river. The youngster was rescued from the river by Sub Inspector Gurish Baalyan and Constable Praveen, and Constable Sunil Samota. The student was then taken to the Trauma Centre Civil Lines, where he is currently safe.

A student told police he was depressed because he had failed one of his trimester examinations and don’t have the confidence to face his father and lecturers.
