Covid-19 in India: 33,750 cases in the last 24 hours, 1700 Omicron cases
New Delhi: India has reported more than 33700 Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, and 123 people died due to infection. With 10,846 recoveries, the active caseload of the country stood at 145,582.
The Health Ministry on Monday released an updated data – in which they mentioned that the Omicron tally in the country reached 1700 of which 639 have recovered.”
Meanwhile, Covid vaccination for teenagers – aged between 15 to 18 years – began today. The Union Health Ministry had announced that Bharat Biotech’s Covaxin will be the one that will be administered to eligible children — in two doses 28 days apart.
