New Delhi: US President-elect Joe Biden, who is scheduled to take oath as the 46th President on January 20, will withdraw the travel ban or restrictions imposed by his predecessor Donald Trump against Muslim countries.

The media reported that Biden will sign 12 important executive orders on his first day at the White House as the new President. One executive order will be the withdrawals of the travel ban from the Muslim countries.

Ron Klein, Biden’s Chief of Staff, said that “Joe Biden will sign 12 important executive orders on his first day at White House. The US will join the Paris Climate Agreement again, along with the travel ban imposed on Muslim countries will also end.”

Biden is planning to announce the new laws and plans which would come into force after a nod by the US Congress.

He will present the new immigration plan within the first 100 days, in which tourists and illegal residents, living in the US without any legal documents, will become American citizens.

A liberal immigration policy will be helpful for talented migrants from across the world, especially in India.

According to some experts, Biden’s new executive orders will affect the US and the world positively and negatively. Under the Biden Presidency, Iran may become a nuclear power.

North Korea, Iran, and many other nations are expecting good relations with the US in the Biden Presidency. During the Trump era, their relations with the US had deteriorated.

The US had imposed restrictions on all these countries for their anti-US activities.
