Cannes 2022: Official trailer of Peter Five Eight releases on Cannes Market
New Delhi: The first official trailer of upcoming Hollywood film, Peter Five Eight, released at the Cannes Market on Friday, May 20, 2022. The release marked the first footage release of a Kevin Spacey project at the market in almost five years.
The trailer showcases a seemingly poised and glamorous real estate agent, Sam, in a small mountain community, who is later revealed to be an unhinged and troubled alcoholic with a dark secret.
Actor Kevin Spacey plays the character of a charismatic stranger in the film, who arrives out of the blue at the behest of his powerful yet shady boss, Mr. Lock.
Directed by Michael Zaiko Hall, the film also stars Rebecca De Mornay, Jet Jandreau, and Jake Weber in pivotal roles.
The two-time Oscar winner is also in the market with a historical drama, 1242-Gateway to the West. The two films are among the first Spacey projects to be on sale in the market since the actor was accused of sexual harassment by multiple people in 2017.
