July 1, 2021, Ahmedabad – Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar is making headlines on social media yet again, this time for the teaser of his latest music video Filhaal 2: Mohabbat that was released late Wednesday evening.
B Praak’s single Filhaal released in the year 2019 with Akshay Kumar and Nupur Sanon in the lead roles and also starred Ammy Virk. The hit video marked the screen debut of Kriti Sanon’s younger sibling, Nupur.
The track revolves around the characters of Akshay Kumar and Nupur Sanon who are separated only to reunite in the hospital. However, it is too late as both the characters have moved on with their lives.
Filhaal 2: Mohabbat is a sequel to the previous song which promises to ‘touch your soul.’ The teaser of Filhaal 2 emphasises the celebration of love, even if from afar. Akshay Kumar is seen dancing at a wedding with tears of separation as Nupur Sanon looks on from a balcony, decked in a bridal avatar.
The song’s description reads, ‘the pain of selfless yet incomplete love story continues with Filhaal 2: Mohabbat, a romantic ballad that reinstates the fact that true love never dies and if it does, it was never meant to be.’
Akshay Kumar shared a portion of the teaser with his fans on Instagram with the caption, “Filhal se Mohabbat karne ka samay kareeb aa raha hai.” He even announced that the music video will be launched on July 6, 2021.
On the other hand, Nupur Sanon shared the teaser on her Instagram handle and wrote, “Chaliye dikhate hain aapko humari Mohabbat ki ek jhalak,” thereby inciting anticipation for the fans.
Many celebrities like Kriti Sanon and Hina Khan are also eagerly waiting for the release of Filhal 2: Mohabbat.
