Appointment: Sudhakar Dalela is India’s new Ambassador to Bhutan
New Delhi: India has appointed Sudhakar Dalela (IFS-1993 batch) as its new Ambassador to Bhutan, the Ministry of External Affairs said.
Currently, he is the Deputy Chief of Mission at the Indian Embassy in Washington.
Dalela began his diplomatic career in Israel in 1993 and has since worked at Indian Missions in Brasilia, Chicago, Geneva, and Washington.
He will replace Ruchira Kamboj (IFS 1987 batch) who has been named the designated ambassador/permanent representative of India to the United Nations in New York.
