Anurag Kashyap unveils Do Baara poster
Mumbai: Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap unveiled the official poster of his upcoming Bollywood film, Do Baara, on Tuesday, August 02, 2022. The film will have a theatrical release on August 19, 2022.
Kashyap took to Instagram and shared the poster with a caption that read, “This mystery keeps on increasing. Do Baara trailer out now.”
The poster shows Bollywood actor Taapsee Pannu. The actor has an intense expression with an old television covering her left eye. The old version of a television set portrays the image of a young, school-going boy. The poster has a blurry effect to it, which provides a tinge of suspense. The digits 2 and 12 are apparent as they are written right behind the title of the film, Do Baara.
Kashyap had also shared the official trailer earlier. Posting the trailer on Instagram, he wrote, “Now, only time will be able to answer all of Antara’s questions.”
The trailer begins with a narrator talking about a geomagnetic storm that is about to hit after a span of 26 years. The weather department issues a warning regarding the same. Meanwhile, Tapsee and a young girl listen to the news.
The scene changes and Taapsee meets a guy who asks about the last thing that she remembers. To which she replies, that a boy came on the TV. “Which guy?” the man asks. Later, she is seen contemplating how her travelling into the past and changing a few things that also changed her present.
The trailer ends with a line that flashes across the screen and translates to, “Can a storm change everything?”
Directed by Kashyap, produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, Sunir Kheterpal, and Gaurav Bose under a Vermillion World Production, and presented by Cult Movies and Athena, Do Baara features actors Taapsee Pannu, Pavail Gulati, Himanshi Choudhry, Vidusshi Mehra, Nidhi Singh, Rahul Bhat, Myra Rajpal, and Medini Kelamane, among others.
