Justice Shah Suffers Heart Attack, Admitted to AIIMS-Delhi
NEW DELHI, June 16: The Supreme Court Justice MR Shah on Thursday suffered a ‘heart attack’ in Himachal Pradesh. He was rushed to AIIMS-Delhi in an air ambulance for treatment.
However, a statement issued by Justice Shah’s office soon after said he was stable. The statement issued in his name said, “I am stable. There is nothing to worry. By day after tomorrow, I will be better.”
Justice Shah has served as Chief Justice of Patna High Court and is also a former judge of Gujarat High Court. He was appointed as a judge of Supreme Court on November 2, 2018, and is scheduled to retire on May 15, 2023.
