Delhi to experience rainfall and thunderstorms: IMD
New Delhi: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) predicted the light intensity rainfall with thunderstorms and gusty winds over New Delhi and adjoining areas on Wednesday, June 01, 2022.
“Thunderstorm with light intensity rain and gusty winds with speed of 20-30 Km/h would occur over and adjoining areas of isolated places of West, South-West, South Delhi, Central Delhi and NCR (Gurugram, Manesar, Faridabad, Ballabhgarh, Noida, Gr. Noida) Rohtak, Charkhi Dadri, Mattanhail, Jhajjar, Gohana, Gannaur, Loharu, Farukhnagar, Kosali (Haryana), Tizara, Khairthal (Rajasthan) during next 02 hours,” the IMD predicted.
The department had predicted earlier, “Light rain with thunderstorm/lightning/gusty wind (speed reaching 30-40 kmph) very likely over Delhi-NCR and adjoining areas during next 02 hours.”
