A two-and-half year old creates world record for maximum paintings by a toddler
New Delhi: A two-and-a-half-year-old child, Anvi Agrawal from Bhubaneshwar, created a world record for creating 72 paintings, the maximum number of paintings made by a toddler. Her name is etched in the World Book of Records, London, and India Book Awards.
The tiny tot started her abstract art journey when she was nine months old. Since then, the child has forayed into more than thirty-seven techniques, including magnet, pendulum, colors on wheels, reflection art, hair comb texture, recycling old toys, human spirography, Do-It-Yourself (DIY), spray painting, bubble painting, etc.
Apart from her feat in paintings, Anvi had also created an India Book Record when she was one year and nine months old. She received recognition for speaking a foreign language (Spanish) and knowing all 42 sounds (phonemes) of phonetics.
“It was difficult to keep the children entertained during COVID-19 and get them to learn simultaneously. Sourcing material was difficult, but her hard work, passion for learning, and religiously dedicated hours each day for several months paid off. She ultimately made three records at 2.5 years, which is now an inspiration for many children,” Anvi’s mother said.
Anvi’s father, Vishesh Agrawal, told the media, “As parents, we are proud that our child is gifted, and we followed our little girl’s interest wholeheartedly.”
