RSS: Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha meet in Ahmedabad from March 11 to 13
Ahmedabad: The three-day annual meeting of the Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha (ABPS), the highest decision-making body of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), will be held here in Karnavati (Ahmedabad) from March 11 to 13.
RSS Sarsanghchalak Dr. Mohan Bhagwat, Sarkaryawah Dattatreya Hosabale, and other top leaders will address and guide the organization.
Giving this information at a press conference, Sunil Ambekar, Akhil Bharatiya Prachar Pramukh, said nearly 1,250 representatives from within the RSS, and from 36 of its affiliate bodies, will take part in the key event.
They will deliberate on the organization’s achievements, and plan for the next year, he said. Among the matters to be discussed are the RSS’ outreach to create gainful employment in rural areas, environmental matters, etc.
The leaders will also discuss subjects like the Amrit Mahotsav (75th year) of India’s Independence this year and the RSS’s centenary in 2025, and how it can move forward to nearly double the number of branches from the current 55,000 to one lakh across the country.
The ABPS’ meeting could not be held in 2020 because of the Covid-19 induced lockdown across India. In 2021, they held a truncated meeting of the body in Bengaluru.
