World Homoeopathy Day: Celebrating with the Theme “One Health, One Family”
New Delhi, April 10: On the occasion of World Homoeopathy Day, a one-day scientific convention was organized by the Central Council for Research in New Delhi on Monday.
The central council for research in homoeopathy, which is under the Ministry of Ayush, organised this event to promote evidence-based homoeopathic treatment for the health and wellness of the whole family as well as promote homoeopathy as the first line of treatment and the first choice of treatment in the household.
According to the guests and honorees at the event, homoeopathy is a very important healing medium, and only a small group of people are aware of it.
On such an occasion, the vice president of India, Jagdeep Dhankhar, said while addressing the chief guest, “We need a comprehensive and integrated approach to healthcare.” He talks about the role of homoeopathy in the duration of the COVID-19 pandemic and also states that India is known as the “pharmacy of the world.”
The event was followed by a session on the policy aspect of the development of homeopathy, with topics like how to strategize homeopathic research, education, and practice.
The vice president of India, Jagdeep Dhankar, the union ministers of Ayush and ports, shipping, and waterways, Sarbananda Sonowal, and the mos for Ayush and the WCD, Munjpara Mahendrabhai, were all present at the event.
World Homoeopathy Day, which is celebrated every year on April 10th, is celebrated to honour Samuel Hahnemann, the founder of homoeopathy and the German physician, on his death anniversary, as well as to acknowledge the challenges and opportunities involved in promoting homoeopathy, to create awareness about homoeopathy and medical systems.
The day is celebrated each year with a specific theme, and this year the theme of the day is “homoparivar-sarvajan swasthya, one health, one family.”
