Union Minister Amit Shah to attend special screening of Prithviraj

Mumbai: Union Home Minister, Amit Shah is expected to attend a special screening of the upcoming Akshay Kumar starrer, Prithviraj, on June 01, 2022. The Bollywood film will release in theatres on June 03, 2022.

Director Chandraprakash Dwivedi broke the news to the media. According to Dwivedi, the home minister will watch the movie two days ahead of its theatrical release.

“It is our honour that the Honourable Home Minister of our country, Shri Amit Shah ji is going to witness the epic saga on the glorious life of one of Bharatmata’s bravest sons, Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan, who sacrificed his life for the country,” Dwivedi said.

The statement failed to mention the location where the screening would be held. Film Prithviraj is a retelling of a Hindu king named Prithviraj Chauhan and is based on a poem, Prithviraj Raso, by Chand Bardai.

The film was postponed due to the pandemic and features Kumar, Manushi Chhillar, Sanjay Dutt, and Sonu Sood in pivotal roles.
