Tremblor: A 6.9 magnitude earthquake jolts Mexico
New Delhi: An alarming earthquake measuring a magnitude intensity of 6.9 on the Richter scale jolted Mexico on Thursday, September 22, 2022.
The National Centre for Seismology (NCS) took to Twitter and informed regarding the tremblor. The epicentre was said to be located on latitude 18.5 and longitude -102.86, whereas the depth of the epicentre was recorded at 58kms.
“Earthquake of magnitude 6.9 occurred on September 09, 2022, 11:46 IST on latitude 18.5 and longitude -102.86 with a depth of 58km located Mexico,” the NCS said.
