Tremblor: 4.4 magnitude Earthquake jolts Andaman and Nicobar
New Delhi: An earthquake measuring a magnitude of 4.4 on the Richter scale jolted the Campbell Bay district of Andaman and Nicobar Islands around 10 pm on April 13, 2022.
The National Centre for Seismology (NCS) shared seismographs highlighting the affected areas on Twitter.
“Earthquake of magnitude 4.4 occurred on April 13, 2022, at 10:23 pm IST on latitude 6.96 and longitude 94.61 with a depth of 10 km located 78 km East of Campbell Bay, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, India,” the NCS tweeted.
No reports of damage or casualties surfaced so far.
