Ahmedabad: Top Champions League (TCL) a Women’s Cricket Tournament was organized at Babylon Club, Ahmedabad on December 18 and 19.
A total of 16 teams had participated in this tournament. This was the 12th Season of TCL, in which the participants were non-professional female cricketers, who had somewhere a dream to play cricket on the Ground. For them, this was kind of playing World Cup.
The 16 teams were consisting of around 200 females, who were from different backgrounds like a housewife, Businesswomen, Teachers, Students, Entrepreneur, students, Management professionals. TCL is a platform to bring together such cricket lover women, who wants to play cricket.
These 16 teams played 3 matches in two days. Team Divine Life won the Trophy and they were awarded a Trophy and Gold medals. The runner-up team was awarded silver medals.
Season 13 is already coming up in February 2022. The organizer of TCL is Ms. Nimisha Shah, whose dream is to organize this TCL in Narendra Modi stadium in the next 5 years. She is getting the constant support of her family to do this TCL for the last 6 years.
