New Delhi: The Steel Ministry will hold an open house on October 28 in New Delhi to address issues faced by companies and industry associations concerning steel imports.
The session will take place from 11 am to 5 pm in the Steel Room, third floor, GPOA-3, Netaji Nagar. It will cover matters related to SIMS, SARAL SIMS and Quality Control Order (QCO) exemptions.
Companies and associations seeking to participate must email their requests to [email protected] by noon on October 26 to obtain a confirmed time slot. Specific slots will be communicated by email.
Requests should include the organisation’s name, industry and product category, the nature of the issue and any relevant application reference. Participants must also provide a brief description of the issue in no more than 50 words, along with their name, designation, mobile number and email address.
Only one representative per organisation will be permitted to ensure wider participation. Third-party representation and walk-ins will not be allowed, the ministry said.
