Security Forces in Action, Killed all terrorists involved in an attack on a police bus
Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir Director General of Police (DGP) on Friday informed that nine terrorists who were involved in the attack on a police bus in Srinagar’s Pantha Chowk – were eliminated in the last 24 hours.
According to the information – on December 13, a police bus was ambushed by terrorists on the outskirts of Srinagar – in which three policemen were martyred, and 11 other officers suffered from injuries.
The security forces in the Union Territory conducted as many as 100 successful anti-terrorism operations – which led to the killing of 44 top terrorists this year.
DGP further informed that the infiltration was down this year as only 34 terrorists have managed to infiltrate as many as 80 terrorists arrested, while 497 people were booked under the UAPA in J&K.
According to the media report, The Jammu and Kashmir Police have reported 30000 cases of crime this year. 134 youngsters joined terror groups – out of 134 – 72 have been neutralized and 22 arrested.

Meanwhile, IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar has said that a total of 171 terrorists, including 19 from Pakistan, were killed during anti-terrorism operations in the valley in 2021. He further informed that the civilian deaths were lesser this year in comparison to last year in Kashmir.
