Raipur [Chhattisgarh]: President Droupadi Murmu released a commemorative two-hundred-rupee coin to mark the 200th birth anniversary of Pujya Mata Sahib Hasi Devi Ji at Lok Bhawan in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, today. Hundreds of members of the Sindhi community attended the event. Pujya Mata Hasi Devi Ji was the fifth head of the historic Shadani Darbar, a revered spiritual and cultural centre for the Sindhi community.
Following this programme, President Murmu will attend the ‘Seva Samman Parv’ and ‘Yuva Prabodhan’ events at the Sardar Balbir Singh Juneja Indoor Stadium in Raipur as part of the Nuakhai celebrations.
Tomorrow, the President will offer prayers at the Maa Danteshwari Temple and attend the traditional Muria Darbar, a key event of the Bastar Dussehra, where she will interact with tribal leaders, priests, and representatives of indigenous communities.
