New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday extended warm birthday greetings to Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan, lauding his contributions to parliamentary functioning and his commitment to democratic values.
In a post on X, PM Modi said, “Warm birthday greetings to Vice President Thiru CP Radhakrishnan Ji. He is making numerous efforts to strengthen our collective dream of building a Viksit Bharat. His consistent efforts to enhance the productivity and effectiveness of our Parliamentary proceedings reflect his deep commitment to democratic values.”
“Equally inspiring is his unwavering passion for all-round development, with a concern for the poor and marginalised. His public life continues to be guided by dedication, discipline and a clear sense of purpose. I pray for his good health, happiness and a long life in the service of the nation,” he added.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh also extended greetings, appreciating V-P Radhakrishnan’s contributions to strengthening Parliament and ensuring that the benefits of development reach all sections of society.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath joined in conveying his wishes, praying for the Vice President’s long life, good health, and continued dedication to national service.
V-P Radhakrishnan assumed office as the 15th Vice President of India in September 2025. Prior to this, he served as the Governor of Maharashtra and earlier as the Governor of Jharkhand, along with holding additional gubernatorial responsibilities in Telangana and Puducherry, reflecting his extensive administrative experience in public life.
