New Delhi [India]: Department of Post proposes to hold Pension Adalat for Settlement of grievances relating to Postal Pension. Pension Adalat will be held at 11:00 AM onwards on 30.10.2026 (Friday) at O/o the Postmaster General, Head Quarter Region, Speed Post Bhavan, Shahibaug, Ahmedabad-380004.
The Postmaster General will hear each Pensioner individually and settle the grievances of pensioners on the spot. The idea of the above stated Adalat is to give a personal hearing and settlement of problems of the Pensioners on the spot.
The complaints related to Postal Pension should be sent to Sr. Accounts Officer, Pension Section, O/o the Postmaster General, Head Quarter Region, Speed Post Bhavan, Shahibaug, Ahmedabad-380004, so as to reach latest by 26.10.2026 (Monday). The complaints received after the due date will not be entertained.
The complaints should be concrete and in brief. The complaints of a general nature and of policy matters will not be entertained. Moreover, the complaints should not contain more than one point or subject in one application.
The complaints will be presented by complainants personally or family member of the pensioner. Further, as per point no. 6.3 of Directorate Letter No. 44013/2/2010-Coord. Dated 25.03.2011, the authorized representatives of the Standing Committee of Voluntary Agencies (SCOVA) and the recognized Trade Unions/Pensioner Associations may also be invited to attend the Pension Adalats, but they should not be permitted to present the grievances of the Pensioners.
