Maharani 2 trailer releases
Mumbai: Bollywood actor Huma Qureshi took to social media and shared the official trailer of her upcoming web series, Maharani 2. The series will premiere on OTT platform, Sony Liv from August 25, 2022, onwards.
The trailer begins with several back-to-back incidents happening in Bihar that gave rise to political turmoil in the state. The character of Huma, Chief Minister Rani Bharati, is faced with the wrath of the opposition. The trailer progresses to show how conditions in the state worsen to an extent that the citizens demand Rani’s resignation.
Meanwhile, the opposing party has tricks up its sleeves and uses data and religion in their favour to gain the sympathy and interest of the citizens.
Huma says towards the end of the trailer while sipping tea, “Traditions are made to be broken someday. And I am infamous for breaking them.”
Meanwhile, the trailer took the internet by storm with viewers appreciating the dialogues, acting, and the overall trailer.
A Netizen took to YouTube’s comment section and wrote, “Just outstanding trailer. You do not need any big director, producer or actor, you just need a phenomenal story and screenplay to make a marvellous movie or content. Huma you nailed it.”
The first season of the franchise was a success and viewers are excited to learn how the new season unfolds.
Directed by Ravindra Gautam and written by Subhash Kapoor, Nandan Singh, and Umashankar Singh, the shooting of season 2 began on November 27, 2021.
