Kareena Kapoor Khan to star in Rhea Kapoor’s upcoming production
Mumbai: Bollywood actor Kareena Kapoor Khan confirmed that she will be starring in Rhea Kapoor’s upcoming production.
Kareena had previously collaborated with Rhea on film, Veere Di Wedding that went on garner decent earnings at the box office. She even said that the upcoming film will be slightly different from their 2018 film together.
Talking about the new project, Kareena said, “I am doing a film with Rhea (Kapoor). It is not Veere 2 (Veere Di Wedding). It is a story about three women. It is going to be slightly different. It’s a super cool and fun story.”
The 41-year-old actor revealed that the makers finalised the cast and hope to begin the production process by the end of this year or early 2023. “Rhea has got two stellar actors. I can’t reveal the cast, but I am very excited. I can’t wait for her to announce the film. It will start (shooting) by the end of this year or January,” she quipped.
Kareena will be seen opposite Aamir Khan in upcoming film, Laal Singh Chaddha, the official Hindi remake of Tom Hank’s 1994 classic, Forrest Gump, which will release on August 11, 2022.
The actor recently wrapped shooting for feature film adaptation of the Japanese bestseller, The Devotion of Suspect X. Directed by Sujoy Ghosh, the film will premiere on Netflix.
