Jammu and Kashmir: Six Terrorists Killed by Security Forces in an encounter
Srinagar: The Security forces in Jammu and Kashmir killed six terrorists affiliated with the Pakistan-based terrorist group Jaish-e-Mohammad. The Armed forces had conducted two separate operations – one in Anantnag and the second in Kulgam to kill anti-India terrorists. Said the Jammu and Kashmir Police on Thursday.
According to the Inspector General of Police, Kashmir, four of the killed terrorists have been identified so far. Of these, two are Pakistani and two are local terrorists. The identity of the other two terrorists is being ascertained.
An encounter broke out between security forces and terrorists in the Mirhama area of Kulgam district on Wednesday. Another encounter broke out at Nowgam Shahabad in the Dooru area of Anantnag on Wednesday.
