India Briefs 70 Foreign Service Attaches on “Operation Sindoor,” Expose Pakistani Lies
NEW DELHI, May 13: India briefed the Foreign Service Attaches from 70 countries on the successful execution of “Operation Sindoor,” noting how it redefined India–Pakistan ties by showcasing India’s military superiority, strategic resolve and capabilities in new-age warfare.
The Indian Armed Forces on May 7 launched strikes on nine terror bases in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir under Operation Sindoor, in retaliation for the Pahalgam attack.
Lieutenant General DS Rana, Director General of the Defence Intelligence Agency, highlighted the military’s meticulous planning process for selecting targets with verified terror links. “The integrated, precise and prompt response by Indian Armed Forces to achieve the stated objectives, executed through intense multi-domain operations was also highlighted,” the Integrated Defence Staff said in an X post.
Sources said while China was not invited to the briefing on Operation Sindoor, which was attended by representatives from 70 countries, Turkey remained absent, citing unavailability. The DIA official presented credible evidence of Pakistan’s ongoing anti-India misinformation campaign and its impact on regional peace and stability.
He also explained how India’s “Whole-of-Nation” approach worked quickly and effectively to counter the false claims.
Earlier in the day, PM Modi visited the Adampur Air Base in Punjab, during which he also met the pilots and defence personnel who carried out Operation Sindoor, under which India hit nine terror dens deep inside Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir on May 7.
He praised the Indian Armed Forces for thwarting Pakistani attacks in the aftermath of Operation Sindoor, stating that all drones, aircraft, and missiles were rendered ineffective by India’s defence system.
“Pakistan’s drone, their UAVs, aircraft and missiles – all of those failed before our capable air defence. I extend heartfelt appreciation to the leadership of all air bases of the country and every air warrior of the Indian Air Force. You have done a really fantastic job,” PM Modi said.
