IMD predicts rainfall in these Indian States
New Delhi: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicted rainfall in Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Northern and Southern Indian states on Saturday, October 08, 2022.
The IMD shared a spatial rainfall distribution map on Twitter, highlighting the most affected regions.
Informing about the recent weather developments, the IMD wrote, “Isolated very heavy rainfall very likely over Gujarat region, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, East Rajasthan and West Madhya Pradesh on October 08, 2022.”
“Fairly widespread/widespread light/moderate rainfall with isolated/scattered heavy falls and thunderstorm/lightning very likely over Uttarakhand, East Uttar Pradesh and West Madhya Pradesh during October 08-10; over Uttar Pradesh and East Rajasthan on October 08-09; and over Haryana, Chandigarh, and Delhi on October 08,2022.”
“Scattered to /Fairly widespread light/moderate rainfall with isolated heavy falls and thunderstorm/lightning very likely over Gujarat Region and Coastal Andhra Pradesh, and Yanam on October 08 and October 09; Central Madhya Pradesh and North Interior Karnataka on October 10; South Interior Karnataka and Kerala on October 09-10; Rayalseema, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal on October 08-11; Saurashtra, Kutch, and Telangana on October 08, 2022,” the IMD added.
