New Delhi, June 13: Argentine football legend Lionel Messi said he will complete the contract with Inter Miami in 2025 but has no plans to retire yet, the media reported on Thursday.
The World Cup winner,36, joined Inter Miami FC last summer after leaving the French club Paris Saint Germain.
“As of today, I think it’s going to be my last club. But I love playing football,” Messi told reporters.
The eight Ballon d’Or winner, Messi has a contract with Inter Miami FC until 2025 with the option of extending it for a year.
Since he joined Inter Miami FC last year, he helped it to win the 2023 Leagues Cup, the club’s first trophy in their history.
In the current season, Messi played 15 games for Inter Miami and won 14 goals.
