New Delhi: The Authority on Monday reported 2503 new cases of Covid-19 and 27 deaths over the previous 24 hours. This brought the total number of cases in the country to 4,29,93,494. The total reported fatalities due to Covid-19 now stands at 5,15,877.
The total number of active cases is 36,168, with a recovery rate of 98.72 percent. There have been 4,377 recoveries in the last 24 hours, for a total of 4,24,41,449 recoveries. The total number of vaccinations given out as part of the statewide vaccination drive is 1,80,19,45,779.
According to a study undertaken by IIT Kanpur, the fourth wave in India is likely to occur around June. According to the researchers, the severity of the variation will be determined by its type and the country’s Covid vaccination status. The government also take back nearly all restrictions from the public and now people living their covid free life.
