Covid-19: India Registers 14306 new cases in the Last 24 Hrs
New Delhi: The Union Health Ministry on Monday morning updated its data and said, The Nation has reported 14,306 new cases in the last 24 hours. India continues to report less than 15,000 Coronavirusb cases in a single day.
According to the Union Health Ministry, 18,762 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours taking the total recoveries to 33,567,367. The recovery rate is currently at 98.18% which is the highest since March 2020.
India’s active caseload stands at 1,67,695 and is the lowest in 239 days.
Kerala recorded 8538 new coronavirus cases on Sunday, which is more than half of the total cases reported in the last 24 hours.
According to the Kerala health department, With 11,366 more people recovering from the virus since Saturday, the total recoveries touched 4,808,775 and the active cases dropped to 77,363, the release said.
The Maharashtra government on Sunday reported 1,410 new coronavirus positive cases, taking the overall infection tally to 6,602,961, while the death of 18 patients pushed the toll to 140,016 according to the state health department.
Maharashtra state health department said that there are 23,894 active cases in the state at present, As many as 130,732 people were tested on Sunday. With this, the cumulative test figure reached 61,893,695.
