Berlin (Germany): Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal interacted with Indian researchers and students in science and technology at Berlin in Germany. He encouraged them to contribute to India’s journey towards Viksit Bharat. Mr Goyal urged the researchers and students to continue their work in their respective fields. He also assured them that efforts would be made to provide a platform for showcasing their innovations and start-up initiatives at major trade fairs and exhibitions.
During his visit, the Minister also met Levin Holle, Economic and Financial Policy Adviser to the German Federal Chancellor and Germany’s G7 and G20 Sherpa. Earlier, Mr Goyal held discussions on strengthening industrial cooperation between India and Germany. The talks also covered the potential of the proposed India-European Union Free Trade Agreement to boost bilateral trade and investment.
