Chennai Corporation organises ‘Pink Pulse 2026’ online awareness programme on breast cancer

Chennai [Tamil Nadu]: The Chennai Corporation held an online awareness program on breast cancer titled “Pink Pulse 2026”. Medical officers, nurses, healthcare workers and Anganwadi workers across all 15 zones of the Greater Chennai Corporation and members of the public attended the event online and in person. The awareness programme had awareness initiatives regarding breast cancer, vital importance of regular screenings, guidance on self examination and treatment options. The event was organised by the Department of Radiation Oncology at the Tamil Nādu Government Multi Super Speciality Hospital in Chennai in collaboration with the Greater Chennai Corporation.
