Adani Foundation Dedicates Advanced Mobile Veterinary Clinic to Suvidha Gau Seva Kendra
Mundra : The Adani Foundation dedicated a state-of-the-art Mobile Veterinary Clinic to Suvidha Gau Seva Kendra, marking a significant step towards providing immediate medical care for voiceless creatures. The center, led by Ratanbhai Gadhavi for the past 7-8 years, has been devotedly treating animals injured in accidents or abandoned due to illness. Ratanbhai, along with his team of 15-20 members, carries out this compassionate work with unwavering commitment.
The Adani Foundation has been a steadfast supporter of the center since its inception, initially providing a van to transport injured animals to the hospital. In 2021, a dedicated shed was constructed for animal treatment. The addition of this advanced Mobile Veterinary Clinic today further strengthens the facility’s ability to provide prompt care to animals in need.
The dedication ceremony was graced by the presence of Mandvi MLA Shri Aniruddhbhai Dave, Executive Director of Adani Port and Special Economic Zone Shri Rakshitbhai Shah, Mundra Municipality President Smt. Rachanaben Joshi, and all members of the municipality.
In his address, Rakshitbhai Shah, ED at Adani Ports, stated, “For the past 20 years, the Adani Foundation has been actively involved in animal welfare and social initiatives, and we are always eager to support such noble causes.” Shri Rakshitbhai Shah also commended Ratanbhai’s service, comparing it to the emergency 108 service, and assured continued support from the Adani Foundation. Shri Aniruddhbhai Dave endorsed efforts towards environmental conservation, particularly tree plantation and river cleaning, and expressed gratitude to Ratanbhai and his team for their selfless service to voiceless creatures.
The event concluded with a tree plantation drive in the gaushala premises, carried out by all the distinguished guests.
This collaboration between the Adani Foundation and Suvidha Gau Seva Kendra is a significant milestone in promoting animal welfare and environmental conservation, reinforcing the values of compassion and sustainability in society.
