A 4.1 tremblor jolts Jammu and Kashmir
New Delhi: A mild earthquake measuring a magnitude intensity of 4.1 jolted Jammu and Kashmir around 01:00 PM on Wednesday, August 10, 2022.
The National Centre for Seismology (NCS) shared a seismograph on Twitter, highlighting the affected regions.
“Earthquake of magnitude 4.1 occurred on August 10, 2022, at 01:45 IST on latitude 33.66 and longitude 81.85 with a depth of 15 km located 289 km East-Northeast of Hanley, Jammu and Kashmir, India,” the NCS informed.
However, no reports of damages or casualties surfaced so far.
