Indian Embassy in Riyadh advises Indian community in Saudi Arabia to take due precautions under prevailing situation

Riyadh [Saudi Arabia]: The Indian Embassy in Riyadh has advised the Indian community in Saudi Arabia to take due precautions under the prevailing situation and immediately proceed to the nearest safe place in case of an aerial attack

In an advisory, the Embassy urged them to refrain from filming, publishing, or sharing any information, photos, or videos related to the ongoing events. The Embassy officials continue to visit hospitals where injured Indian nationals are receiving medical treatment and are in constant touch with their families and providing necessary assistance.

Meanwhile, Riyadh’s international airport remains closed to flight operations. Dammam, Jeddah, and Medina airports remain operational, although some disruptions continue. Indian carriers have extended the suspension of flights to and from Saudi Arabia. Air India, Air India Express, and Indigo have extended the suspension of flights until 24th October on all routes. Akasa Air has suspended its flights until 27th October on all routes.

The Embassy said Saudia Airlines continues to operate scheduled flights to Indian destinations from Dammam, Jeddah and Medina. It asked Indian nationals requiring urgent departure to consider transiting via Bahrain, Kuwait, or Qatar, subject to obtaining the necessary visas.
