Swadeshi Jagran Manch, Gujarat Province launched a Jila Swavlamban Kendra in Ahmedabad under the Swavalambi Bharat Abhiyan. This center will lead efforts to encourage local industries as well as strengthen indigenous industries, create awareness among students about employment and start-up ecosystem and promote the Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan.
The program was graced by the Chief Guest, MLA of Sabarmati Vidhan Sabha Harshadbhai Patel, Special Guest of West Karnavati Division Ma. Sanghchalakji Hareshbhai Thakkar, Former Standing Committee Chairman of Gandhinagar Municipal Corporation Jaswantbhai Patel, Swavalambi Bharat Abhiyan Gujarat Region, Diu, Daman, Dadra Nagar Haveli Region Conservator Dr. Mayurbhai Joshi, Gujarat Province Coordinator of Swavalambi Bharat Abhiyan Shri Hardikbhai Vachani and Assistant Commissioner of District Industrial Center, Ahmedabad Shri Tejasbhai Mehta were present. More than 200 leaders of other organizations, activists, social leaders, enlightened citizens and business friends attended this program.
The program began with Saraswati Stuti Vandana and Deep Pragatya and the center was formally inaugurated by the chief guest Shri Harshadbhai Patel and special guests. MLA Harshadbhai gave a detailed speech about the imbalance between the growing demand for employment in industries and the problem of unemployment among students in the current context and wished the Jila Swavlamban Kendra to move forward on this subject at a fast pace. Tejasbhai Mehta gave detailed information about the current schemes being implemented by the government for the establishment and development of micro, small and medium enterprises and start-ups. He also expressed the commitment of the administration to ensure that artisan and human welfare schemes reach maximum beneficiaries. Dr. Mayurbhai Joshi gave information about the concept of Jila Swavlamban Kendra how the center will try to fulfill the expectations of current employment and industrialists.
Jaswantbhai Patel gave a detailed speech about India’s glorious past, present and bright future. He conveyed the audience about India’s entrepreneurship and the success of how India emerged from the unimaginable situations encountered in the recent past with the efforts of the current Prime Minister. Shri Hareshbhai Thakkar emphasized on progress based on moral values and sustainable development method, not only emphasizing economic development. He also suggested that the Jila Swavlamban Kendra should not become another organization working on this subject and should work in a special way on the ground. The program concluded with progressive slogans like ‘My district, my country’ and ‘Jai Swadeshi’ after the national anthem.
