Education: CBSE to impart hybrid learning to teachers
New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will train teachers across its affiliated schools to equip them with tools of hybrid learning.
For this purpose, the Board has collaborated with Tech Avant-Garde (TAG) and Microsoft Education as per the National Education Policy 2020 (NEP) to train teachers for uncertainties like the Covid-19 pandemic, the media reported.
“Though many state governments reopened schools and prepared to welcome students, many parents are reluctant to send their children to school and prefer online education till the situation improves,” the CBSE said in a letter addressed to schools.
They will hold training for hybrid learning via an online workshop from November 15 to December 4 in 3 batches for 5 days.
“Teachers attending the workshop should have basic knowledge of technology. The training will include hybrid learning education, its concept, elements, tool kit, hybrid learning in classrooms, workflow, and the hardware and software learning components. Once completed, they will be provided certificates.”
