Trailer of Divya Dutta-starrer Maa releases on April 20
New Delhi: The trailer of Divya Dutt starrer Maa released on Wednesday, April 20, 2022. The trailer offers a glimpse into the life of a mother who treats her biological and adopted son equally. The film will release on May 06, 2022.
The trailer opens with Divya Dutta breaking the news of her pregnancy. The to-be parents celebrate the event and welcome their firstborn baby boy into the family.
The two also adopt a six-month-old orphan on the same day as bringing their firstborn home. Dutta decides to raise the orphan as her own. She showers equal love and affection for both sons even after her husband’s demise.
However, her biological son begins to depreciate her value and grows apart, whereas the adopted son caters to an aging Dutta and cares for her.
Meanwhile, society tries to break Dutta and manipulate her because of her status as a single mother. The people even capture her land through unlawful means. However, a strong-minded Dutta faces adversities and fights against all odds.
Directed by Baljit Singh Deo and written by Rana Ranbir, Maa stars actor-singer Gippy Grewal, Gurpreet Ghuggi, Babbal Rai, Ranbir, Raghveer Boli, Aarushi Sharma, and Vadda Grewal in pivotal roles.
