Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir Police informed the media that a school teacher – identified as a Rajini – was killed by terrorists on Tuesday in the Gopalpora area of Kulgam district. Terrorists shot dead a migrant Kashmiri Hindu woman teacher today morning.
Kashmir Zone Police informed that the woman teacher received critical gunshot injuries in the targeted terrorist attack and was admitted to a hospital. Unfortunately, the teacher succumbed to her injuries. The deceased was a resident of the Samba district in the Jammu division.
Meanwhile, security forces cordoned off the area and also searching for the terrorists involved in the dastardly incident. The Kashmir Police assured that the terrorists will soon be identified and eliminated.
National Conference (NC) leader Omar Abdullah tweeted “Another targeted attack against a migrant government teacher in Kulgam area of South Kashmir. Very sad. This is yet another targeted killing in a long list of recent attacks directed at unarmed civilians. Words of condemnation & condolence ring hollow as do the assurances of the government that they will not rest till the situation normalizes. May the deceased rest in peace,”
According to sources, Terrorists have been targeting the Hindu migrants who are working in Jammu and Kashmir.
