Security Forces Eliminates Three Terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir’s Srinagar
Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Police on Friday confirmed that the Security Forces in Jammu and Kashmir eliminated three terrorists in an encounter. The special forces had conducted an operation in the Srinagar district.
IGP Kashmir, Vijay Kumar confirmed that incriminating materials, including arms and ammunition, were recovered from the terrorists.

The firefight between the terrorists and security forces started after a joint team cordoned off the area and launched a search operation based on specific information about the presence of terrorists.
The state police said that in the initial exchange of fire, three police personnel and one CRPF jawan got injured and were subsequently shifted to a nearby hospital.
Police also confirmed that one of the killed terrorists was identified as Suhail Ahmad Rather of terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM). The security forces retaliated and gunned down three terrorists.
