Russian forces destroy weapons from US and Western countries at Sol railway station
New Delhi: Russian Defense Ministry Spokesman Igor Konashenkov on Sunday said that “Russian high-precision air-to-surface missiles hit Western weapons and military hardware delivered to the Sol railway station,”
“High-precision air-based missiles of the Russian aerospace forces destroyed weapons and military hardware delivered from the United States and Western countries to the sol railway station near the city of Soledar, as well as manpower from the Ukrainian army reserve,” he said.
Mikhail Mizintsev, Chief of Russia’s National Defense Management Center, however, on Sunday said that “More than 19,800 people, including 970 children, were evacuated from dangerous regions in Ukraine, and from the Lugansk and Donetsk People’s Republics to Russia during the day,”
“Despite the difficulties and obstacles created by Kyiv, during the day, as many as 19,834 people, including 970 children, were evacuated from dangerous zones in various Ukrainian regions, and from the Lugansk and Donetsk People’s Republics to Russia,” he said. “Since the beginning of the special military operation, as many as 1,185,791 people, including 206,610 children, have been evacuated.”
According to Mizintsev, more than 9,500 temporary accommodation centers are operating in Russian regions.
