New Delhi: Tamil Thalaivas defeated Telugu Titans 43-25 in the Pro Kabaddi League at the Sheraton Grand, Bengaluru, on Thursday, February 03, 2022.
The match began with Tamil’s Sahil Gulia taking Telugu’s Rohit Kumar down during Telugu’s first raid. Tamil’s Manjeet Chillar made a rare error as Telugu levelled scores 1-1. Telugu’s Galla Raju made a touchpoint off Tamil’s Surjeet Singh.
Tamil’s Bhavani Rajput conducted a do-or-die raid but was pushed off the mat by Telugu’s Sandeep Kandola. Though Telugu conducted a Super Raid, Manjeet escaped and made it past the midline. The first half ended with Tamil leading 22-10.
The next half began with Telugu’s Akash Choudhary initiating a tackle on Manjeet. Tamil’s Sagar Rathee conducted a Super Tackle as he took Adarsh T down and earned 2 points. Though Telugu’s Amit Chauhan went against Tamil, he was ousted when the Thalaivas conducted an All Out.
Galla conducted a raid and made a running touchpoint off Surjeet Singh. The match ended with Tamil Thalaivas winning the match with a massive 43-25 victory.
