New Delhi: Team Dabang Delhi beat U Mumba 36-30 in the Pro Kabaddi League at the Sheraton Grand, Bengaluru, on Monday, January 31, 2022. Dabang Delhi won the toss, and U Mumba chose to raid first.
Mumba’s Abhishek Singh went for the raid but walked into the chain by Delhi’s Manjeet Chhillar and Sandeep Narwal. Mumba’s Harendra Kumar stopped Vijay Malik mid-air and equalised scores 1-1.
Delhi’s Sandeep Narwal conducted a super raid, but Mumba’s Fazel Atrachali and Harendra pushed him off the mat. U Mumba was ahead with 9-7 points.
Delhi’s Ashu Malik conducted a successful do-or-die raid as Mumba’s Abhishek Singh took a touchpoint off Manjeet Chillar. However, the first half ended in a draw as Delhi’s Vijay received a bonus point in the final raid 12-12.
The second half began with Vijay getting a bonus. Mumba’s V Ajith quickly equalised scores. Fazel conducted an All Out and got a two-point lead. Manjeet took down Ajith Kumar and gained a point. Meanwhile, Vijay made a massive dash and took Abhishek off the mat.
Delhi’s Neeraj Narwal made a dubki before Fazel, and Rinku Hari caught him. Neeraj crossed the midline and earned a point. Delhi conducted another All Out before Vijay received a Super 10. Delhi was leading 34-28.
Vijay drew Ajith in a tackle but stopped near the midline to waste Ajith’s last minutes of the game. The final raid of the match ended with Manjeet gaining a bonus off Abhishek. Delhi won the event 36-30.
