PM Modi to visit Bengal on January 23: will celebrate Bose’s birthday as ‘Parakram Diwas’
Kolkata: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Bengal on January 23 and will be the part of celebration of the Government of India’s ‘Parakram Diwas’ programme.
The PM is also likely to visit the National Library located in Belvedere Estate, Alipore.
Union Ministry of Culture on Tuesday announced that “To honour and remember Netaji’s indomitable spirit and selfless service to the nation. The GoI has decided to dedicate his birthday every year as ‘Parakram Diwas’.
The people of India fondly remember Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose’s unparalleled contribution to this great nation in his 125th birth anniversary.
